the spirit of spring
Last week I had the pleasure of photographing this wonderful family. R has initially wanted to take family portraits for last Christmas and we have been bouncing back and forth with interesting ideas for the photo shoot. Well, to say interesting was an understatement as we were talking about the ugly Christmas sweaters!
However due to the sudden cold spell in this part of Florida and them moving to their new house, we decided to have the photo session in spring, which by the way was perfect for Easter. After all spring colors and hues are always refreshing.
Weather usually posed a challenge for every photographer. And it certainly was unpredictable on the morning of the photo shoot. The day started with a cloudy forecast and we had a slight drizzle on the first couple of takes. But that quickly changed as the clouds broke apart and the sun came out.
Obviously we were thrilled and quickly got to the park before the weather starts to change. Even little 2 year old A was excited to get outside.
Little man was definitely the highlight of the photo session. His free and vibrant personality set the tone for the photo shoot, evidently expressing the spring season.
Despite the weather and a little mishap on being bitten by fire ants (note to self: no flats for outdoor shoot.) I had a great time capturing the spirit of spring that was perfectly portrayed by this cheerful and lively family.
